New: Summer 2010 Mushroom Picture and Story Contest!

The summer is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than to enjoy the outdoors? This summer, we're offering you a chance to share your mushroom photos and win a $25 Amazon.com Giftcard!

Simply use the form below to submit a picture and story. Then every other Sunday, my editorial team and myself will choose the best submission and send a $25 Amazon.com Gift Certificate to the winner.

We're taking reader reactions into account too, so feel free to leave comments on the entries.

Here are the rules:

1. Your submission must be accompanied by a story of at least 300 words. The longer and more well written, the better your chances of winning.

2. Please use mushroom pictures taken during the summer of 2010 only. Keep it real. No Photoshopped pics please!

3. Prizes are given every two weeks, being announced August 29th, September 12th, and September 26th. If you make an entry but do not win during the allotted two weeks, you can submit another entry but NOT for the same picture.

4. Only one prize will be awarded per person during the entire contest. You can't win more than once!

5. Gift Cards are redeemable through the Amazon.com website only. Here's the rest of the their policy regarding Gift Certificates. (opens in a new window)

Important!
You MUST include your email address with your submission so that we can send to you the gift card if you win. Your email will of course be kept confidential, and won't be posted or subscribed to any lists (we hate that as much as you do!).

Thank you in advance for your entry!
